UTMB World Series partners with three official suppliers to bolster trail running event

UTMB® World Series organisers UTMB Group and The IRONMAN Group, have confirmed they have partnered with BUFF®, CAMELBAK and COMPRESSPORT as Official Suppliers to further bolster their trail running series by offering runners the provision of best-in-class products across a variety of essential categories.

2022 marks the inaugural year for the UTMB World Series – a global circuit that brings together the best races in the world to offer elite athletes and passionate runners a unique trail running experience.

BUFF® is extending its long-term partnership with UTMB as Official Head and Neckwear Supplier to provide quality, stylish and performance-focused neck and head accessories

BUFF® - experts in sports and lifestyle accessories and the choice of countless athletes all over the world – have become Official Head and Neckwear Supplier to the UTMB World Series Events in EMEA and the Americas for 2022, with a commitment to a Global partnership from 2023.

BUFF® produces a diverse range of accessories, and as Official Head and Neckwear Partner will provide a selection of caps, beanies, headbands, and the most iconic neckwear product, the BUFF® Original EcoStretch that will support the performance and comfort of all runners and staff. A new exclusive BUFF® product range will be available at all UTMB World Series events including some of the core products, with a wider range available at some key events. 

As part of the company’s plans to create a more conscious business model, 90% of all BUFF® products are designed and made in Barcelona with recycled or natural fabrics as part of their sustainability platform ‘DO MORE NOW’, and over the last 30-years, the company has continually innovated and experimented with cleaner methods of production, renewable energies, and recycled fabric. 

Partners to UTMB Mont-Blanc since 2007 – during which time the brand has been worn by many UTMB podium finishers – the partnership extension solidifies a strong ongoing relationship between UTMB and BUFF® which will now see the two brands embark on a new, global journey together.

COMPRESSPORT is set to bring the latest compression technology as UTMB World Series Official Compression Apparel and Technical Socks Supplier 

COMPRESSPORT, a leading sports compression clothing and accessories specialist, has become the Official Compression Apparel and Technical Socks Supplier of the UTMB World Series through 2024.

Originating in Switzerland, COMPRESSPORT has been a stable brand at UTMB® Mont-Blanc since partnering with the sports pinnacle event in 2014. During that time, they have provided essential products as well as supported elite athletes, including Frenchman Ludo Pommeret when he won the UTMB Mont-Blanc in 2016. 

As part of the partnership, COMPRESSPORT® will develop a specific UTMB-branded range of compression products. These products will feature innovative technologies, exclusive designs, and optimal comfort. Participants of UTMB World Series events deserve the best available gear. Every detail of the product line has been considered for the athletes to perform at their best.

The 2023 UTMB® World Series is expanding its trail running series with a new event - Amazean Jungle Thailand -  offering runners an adventure through the unchartered jungle of Betong, Southern Thailand.
