Still time for facilities and programs to register for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson
The organisers of the World's Largest Swimming Lesson - scheduled to be held across all continents on Thursday 17th June - have advised that facilities and programs can still register to be part of the global water safety and education event.
Now in its 12th year, the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) serves as a crucial platform for the aquatics industry to build awareness of swimming lessons and with months of learn-to-swim programs having been lost in 2020, the need to provide children with access to formal swimming lessons this year is more important than ever.
Advising that registration remain open until 10th June, WLSL organisers noted “we know that some of you have held off on registering to host a World's Largest Swimming Lesson event so far this year.
“You've been focused on finding new staff, training new team members and getting your pool, waterpark or swim school open for the 2021 season.
“No need to worry though because registration remains open to join (the event) as a host location.”
