Roller software appoints USA-based Chief Operating Officer
Aiming to support its ongoing expansion, Melbourne-based attractions management software company Roller has recently expanded its leadership team in the USA with former director Ash Fagura switching to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Based in San Francisco, California Fagura has joined Roller from SaaS businesses Databricks, where he was Vice President of Customer Success Strategy.
He previously spent six years at Campaign Monitor, where he helped the company scale from $50 million in revenue to over $250 million through organic growth and acquisitions.
He had been a Director of Roller since October 2020 before stepping down on undertaking his executive role with the company.
Fagura is described by Roller as "a seasoned professional and experienced operational leader in the software space", adding that it is "thrilled to have his experience onboard to further accelerate its growth trajectory".
Roller last week was ranked 15th out of 50 finalists on the prestigious 2023 Australian Financial Review (AFR) Fast Global list, recognising its remarkable international growth.
Welcoming its placement, Roller Chief Executive and founder, Luke Finn commented “this recognition reinforces our position as a leading force in the leisure and attractions industry, and we are proud of our achievements in expanding our international presence."
Finn added that in addition to continuing ROLLER's strong organic growth, he expects the company will also pursue merger and acquisition opportunities in the years ahead, adding "we now have a truly global team and footprint, which is a great foundation to further expand the products and services we can bring to our customers."
In December, the company completed a $28.2 million funding round
