May 2, 2023

Leading Oceanic esports provider LetsPlay.Live in partnership with Dynasty Gaming and Media has launched a new platform to become the region’s largest gaming destination.

The platform, which was soft launched on 15th April, was instantly Oceania’s largest gaming destination with over 400,000 registered users on day one.

With major brand and commercial partnerships currently being signed and more to quickly follow, the number of users on the platform is expected to comfortably exceed one million by the end of 2023. It is designed to be the de facto home for gamers, whether they are looking to play, watch, compete, learn, or hang out and have fun.

It provides gamers and LPL partners with the tools they need to create their own tournaments, participate in LPL organised leagues, and win prizes. Its wide-reaching features appeal to everyone; from Pro players, to aspiring esports stars, through to casual gamers, mobile gamers and those who love browser-based titles.

The site launched with a range of core features, with more modules coming online as the platform evolves to meet the needs of its users in the coming months and years. For tournaments with prizes, players will be rewarded with LPL Tokens which can be cashed out in their local currency or used to purchase items in the LPL Shop which offers an expanding array of products from our partners.

The LPL community will be able to build their own custom white-label tournaments with all the functionality they have come to expect from past LPL leagues and more. This will be rolled out to more users over time but already has a number of keen community organisations planning future tournaments to take advantage of the LetsPlay.Live platform.

One of the first tournaments to use the new platform is the VALORANT Challengers Oceania League which is currently underway and testimony of the continued partnership with Riot Games. LPL is the official regional provider of VALORANT tournaments for 2023 and 2024.

Among other exciting opportunities for players is the recently announced ‘Clash Royale World Tour’ which will have an impressive US$25,000 prize pool and is available for players in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Japan, Korea, South-East Asia and Oceania. It is LetsPlay.Live’s first global tournament and a first for mobile gaming in the region, thanks to the support of the game publisher, Supercell.

LetsPlay.Live has an outstanding six-year history of industry leadership and success, with its brand already synonymous with the nation’s gamers who have played over 100,000 matches to date. With over 15,000 matches organised each year, it is the number one esports tournament organiser across Australasia and Oceania and is an official TO partner for the biggest games publishers on the planet, including Riot, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Activision Blizzard, Supercell, Ubisoft, 2K, and more.
