Hong Kong Disneyland announces new ticketing options and ‘Frozen’ themed rides
September 22, 2022

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has announced the addition of a new ticket option to their multiple-tiered ticket structure and as the resort heads into celebrations for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, the long-awaited Frozen-themed land, World of Frozen, is to be opened in the second half of 2023.

A spokesperson at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort notes “multiple-tiered ticket pricing, a common practice throughout the attraction and theme park industry in Asia, not only gives guests flexibility in choosing when to visit, but also helps us deliver a better experience for all our guests. In addition, along with other value-added ticket products such as the Magic Access program, this approach gives guests more ways to visit our parks,”

Current prices for 1-Day Tickets for Peak Days and Regular Days will remain unchanged for all ticket types. The new 1-Day ‘Peak Plus Days Ticket’, which is being introduced for the most popular days and seasons, will be set at HK$759 for General Admission (guests aged 12-64) and HK$569 for Child (guests aged three-11). [1.00 US Dollar = 7.84 Hong Kong Dollars]

Additionally, under the Magic Access annual pass program:

  • Prices for student/child memberships under the Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers will be HK$998, HK$1,668 and HK$3,078 respectively.

While these changes will come into effect today (22nd September) special offers will be available for existing members and Hong Kong residents.

Prices for Senior 1-Day Tickets and Magic Access senior memberships will remain the same for the 11th consecutive year. Guests eligible for existing offers for people with disabilities will continue to receive a 30% discount on 1-Day Tickets for Regular Days and Peak Days, as well as Peak Plus Days.

World of Frozen
As the resort heads into celebrations for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, there are more in store for the coming year and beyond, including a brand-new Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue and the long-awaited Frozen-themed land, World of Frozen, to be opened in the second half of 2023.

At this year’s D23 Expo, it was announced that Hong Kong Disneyland’s new Frozen-themed land is opening in the second half of 2023.

Disneyland Paris’ Frozen land is the next major milestone in the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park. The animated films are also being brought to life as part of the Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s new land will immerse visitors in the sights, sounds, cuisines and traditions of Arendelle and will include the first Frozen-themed coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs.
