Fitness First Middle East names Mark Buchanan as new Chief Executive
The United Arab Emirates-based Landmark Group has named Mark Buchanan as Chief Executive of Fitness First Middle East.
Buchanan, who joins Fitness First Middle East from being Senior Managing Director for Bangkok, Thailand-based Evolution Wellness Holdings Asia, has over 30 years experience in the Fitness Industry.
A statement advised that Buchanan is “an accomplished and visionary leader, (who) brings an impressive wealth of experience to our team … aligning perfectly with Fitness First’s vision for the region.
“His career spans diverse geographies, including Asia and the United Kingdom”, noting that for Evolution Wellness Holdings Asia “he led a multi-brand business spanning Thailand and Singapore (and) notably, Mark was a key member of the Asia Executive Board, instrumental in crafting and executing a multi-country operations strategy for the company in the region.”
Fitness First Middle East is a subsidiary of the Landmark Group, a leading retail and hospitality conglomerate in the Middle East and India.
