Disney Parks from Shanghai Disney Resort and the Disneyland Resort to Hong Kong Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park are celebrating Lunar New Year.

A new lunar year brings a brand-new look to Shanghai Disney Resort through 16th February, immersing guests from the moment they step into the park with both new customs and longstanding traditions.

Popular characters Tigger alongside Mickey and friends are welcoming guests at Shanghai Disney Resort and the Disneyland Resort in dazzling new outfits with themed merchandise and hotel activities available at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

The colourful traditional Lion Dance will be held from 2nd to 16th February and at the end of the day ‘ILLUMINATE! A Night-time Celebration’ lights up the sky, followed by the limited time show ‘Our Families.’

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is joining in the festivities, celebrating through to 20th February where guests can book a magical visit with a Lunar New Year-themed merchandise product package. During their stay, guests can learn about traditional Lunar New Year at seasonal arts and crafts classes, and make traditional ornaments, fans, and more.

The Disneyland Resort is also celebrating the season through to 13th February with festivities commemorating Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures at Disney California Adventure park.

Debuting for the very first time at the resort, Raya from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film, ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ can be found at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in a setting inspired by her native home Kumandra.

‘Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession’ also returns with a vibrant performance featuring a number of spirited performers, alongside hosts Mulan and Mushu.
