World Leisure calls for officer nominations
The World Leisure Secretariat is currently accepting nominations for its Board of Directors, whose primary role is to set policy and direction for the international organisation including the approval of programs designed to accomplish its mission.
Directors of World Leisure (the former World Leisure and Recreation Association) serve a three-year term, are expected to demonstrate the skills, disposition and enthusiasm needed for board leadership; membership of World Leisure; experience as a practicing professional, educator, or citizen with a focus on leisure and related areas; knowledge of professional association activities; and general knowledge of international affairs.
World Leisure is also seeking a treasurer and board vice-chair.

World Leisure is also backing the 2013 International Leisure Development Forum, being held from 1st to 3rd November in Hangzhou, China.
