Twelve South launches ActionSleeve 2 for Apple Watch for more comfortable fitness workouts
May 19, 2021

Twelve South – the exclusive designers of accessories for Apple devices - has today launched ActionSleeve 2 for Apple Watch, an armband that thinks beyond the wrist to allow for a more comfortable yet monitored workout.

The introduction of ActionSleeve 2 removes the watch from your wrist, giving more freedom to move through workouts such as Crossfit, cycling, and even yoga while also maintaining its primary role as a fitness tracker.

While the Apple Watch is one of the most advanced health and fitness devices in the wearable technology sector, the wrist is not always the perfect place to wear it. Sports such as kickboxing, weightlifting and crossfit training often require protective sports gear and full wrist mobility that can rule out the effectiveness of the Apple Watch.

ActionSleeve straps your Apple Watch to your upper arm (fits arms up to 43cm) or bicep, away from the wrist but still fully viewable and controllable. Upper arm placement provides consistent heart rate and workout tracking.

The outer frame adds protection from nicks and dings and with tighter, more consistent skin contact.

It is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4, 5 and 6 and is available for 40mm and 44mm Apple Watch models.
