Thailand Amusement and Attraction Parks Expo set for October return

The organisers of the Thailand (Bangkok) Amusement and Attraction Parks Expo (TAAPE) have advised that the event will be returning this year at Bangkok’s Impact Exhibition and Convention Centre from 24th to 26th October.

An increasingly popular trade show dedicated to the promotion of the amusement and attractions industry in Southeast Asia, TAAPE 2023 organisers are anticipating that more than 200 exhibitors and 10,000 buyers will attend the event.

With the theme park, waterpark and themed attractions market growing in both Thailand and Southeast Asia, catering for the region’s growing middle class along with overseas visitors, TAAPE is anticipating exhibitors and buyers attending from over 100 countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, German, India, France, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan and the USA.

Established in conjunction with the ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative, TAAPE 2023 is promoted as an ideal platform and important market for overseas enterprises looking to generate business.

A spokesperson for TAAPE 2023 organiser Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group Co.,Ltd, explained “this is a great opportunity to meet potential business partners, trade buyers, investors and customers, to introduce new products and also establish widen dealer network for Thai companies and to connect with new customers.”

Rebounding after the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thailand has become home to a range of new theme parks waterparks in recent years.

These attractions include:

Dream World, Bangkok: One of the largest theme parks in Thailand featuring a variety of attractions, including rollercoasters, water rides and live shows.

Fantasia Lagoon, Pattaya: A waterpark that is part of the larger Royal Garden Plaza complex. It features water slides, a lazy rive, and other water attractions.

Dinosaur Plane, Bangkok: A dinosaur-themed park that includes exhibits, animatronics and other attractions that allow visitors to interact with life-size dinosaurs.

Magic Land, Pattaya: A smaller theme park that is popular among families with young children. It features a variety of rides and attractions, including a small roller coaster and a carousel.

Siam Park City, Bangkok: One of the oldest and largest waterparks in Thailand it features a variety of attractions, including water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river while also offering ‘dry’ attractions including rollercoasters and a log flume.

Cartoon Network Amazone, Pattaya: A waterpark themed around popular Cartoon Network characters. It has over 30 attractions, including water slides, a surf simulator and a wave pool.

Ramayana Water Park, Pattaya: One of the largest waterparks in Southeast Asia with over 50 attractions, including water slides, a lazy river and a wave pool.

Vana Nava Water Jungle, Hua Hin: A waterpark that is known for its unique design and architecture. It features over 20 attractions, including water slides, a wave pool and a beach area.
