Singapore’s Revolution spin cycling to expand franchise model in Australia
Spin cycling operator Revolution Singapore has announced the launch of its franchise model in Australia, revealing that it is ready engage state master and franchisees nationwide.
Established in 2020, the premium indoor rhythm cycling brand currently operates at four locations in Singapore focussing on high-intensity, beat-filled, full-body workouts in darkened rooms with sessions led by inspirational instructors.
Revolution Singapore advise that “each session boasts positive energy allowing clients the ability to let their hair down while breaking into a sweat embracing club-themed music and lighting.”
Following the arrival of other South East Asian-based brands Fire Fit and Go2Fit in Australia, Revolution has partnered with franchise consulting firm DC Strategy to deliver what it says is “a simple yet proven business model that is highly scalable”.
Advising that it “is an established brand with a dedicated supply chain offering world-class training and marketing support”, the business goes on to say “comprehensive training is provided to all franchisees.
“This includes detailed studio management, human resources, operations, sales and marketing training.
“Franchisees will also have access to Revolution’s world-class instructor training academy to groom and develop their own portfolio of instructors (along with) ongoing support provided through a dedicated franchisee manager.”
Writing about the challenges and potential of indoor cycling in an unrelated to social media post, Les Mills Asia Pacific Chief Executive, Ryan Hogan last week advised “lately in industry circles I've noticed 'experts' loudly claiming that indoor cycling in the gym environment is dead.
“The truth is, indoor cycling done poorly is dead (but done right operators can) reap the rewards of what should be the most valuable real estate in your facility.”
