Fitness and Lifestyle Group announces exclusive deal with Transaction Services Group for its Fitness First, Zap, Goodlife and Jetts NZ brands

Fitness and Lifestyle Group announces exclusive deal with Transaction Services Group for its Fitness First, Zap, Goodlife and Jetts NZ brands
December 8, 2020

Leading gym operator the Fitness and Lifestyle Group has today announced a partnership with fitness management software and integrated payments provider, Transaction Services Group for its Fitness First Australia, Zap, Goodlife Health Clubs and Jetts NZ brands.

The new four-year partnership will see Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG) consolidate its software and payments vendors, using Transaction Services Group (TSG)’s all-in-one solution to simplify the administration for its facilities, increase footfall following COVID-19 and enhance the membership experience.

With FLG having selected Debitsuccess and Clubware for its Goodlife and Zap brands to support its business in both optimising memberships and managing operations in 2004 and 2018, respectively, the partnership will see Fitness First Australia leverage Clubware management software and Debitsuccess payment solutions for the first time, across more than 70 sites and 200,000 customers.

The move follows FLG having enlisted Debitsuccess and Clubware to support its 50 plus Jetts gyms in New Zealand earlier this year.

With a state-of-the-art contact centre, supported by more than 100 in-region employees, the deal will see TSG manage all billing related queries for Goodlife, Jetts NZ, Zap and now Fitness First Australia gyms.

Alongside payments and billing support, Clubware’s highly configurable management software and reporting analytics allows these FLG brands to proactively manage gym capacity and class sizes; facilitate in-app and online bookings; and continue to engage, motivate, and retain members.

Announcing the link, TSG Health and Fitness Chief Executive, Davin Miller sees that Debitsuccess and Clubware are transforming the fitness industry with intuitive software, payments solutions and value-added services designed to meet all the current and future needs of gyms and health clubs.

Miller advised “in these challenging times, gyms need an all-in-one solution that allows them to focus on doing what they love, making a meaningful, positive impact on their customers’ health and wellbeing. COVID-19 has brought added complexity to the fitness industry, as gyms strive to maintain new safety and capacity management requirements, adapt to digital fitness services, offer flexible memberships – all while motivating members.

“FLG has trusted us to deliver a premium membership managed service for Goodlife, Jetts NZ, and Zap for many years, and we’re proud to now be doing the same for Fitness First.”

FLG Chief Executive, Greg Oliver added “we are pleased to be expanding our use of TSG payments and software solutions across our network in both Australia and New Zealand.

“The unique combination of Debitsuccess and Clubware allows FLG to streamline back of house processes and leverage tangible value-added payment insights for optimising the membership experience for all customers.”

Fitness First is set to go live with TSG’s Clubware and Debitsuccess solutions in the first quarter of 2021. Fitness First, Goodlife, Jetts NZ and Zap will also upgrade their existing management software to the new cloud-based, SaaS version of Clubware later in the year.

FLG is one of the largest providers of fitness sector operator in the Asia-Pacific regions, with over 510 facilities serving 825,000 members every day. In parallel, TSG has pioneered integrated payments, management software, and innovative value-added solutions for gyms and health clubs since 1990, having grown to become the market leader in both Australia and New Zealand, now serving over 5,000 clients.

Its portfolio of globally recognised brands includes Fitness First Australia, Goodlife Health Clubs Australia, Barry's Bootcamp Asia-Pacific, Jetts Fitness, California Fitness & Yoga, California Centuryon, Yoga Plus, UFC Gym and ERI International Clinic and Zap Fitness. With over 470 locations across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, it helps over 900,000 members live healthier and more active lives.
