F45 Training appoints new Asia-Pacific General Manager

Global fitness franchise, F45 Training Group, has appointed Adrian Furminger as their new General Manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Furminger will spearhead the strategic growth and development of F45 Training across one of the company’s most dynamic markets.
In his new role, Furminger will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of F45 Training Group’s operations in the APAC region, including franchise development, member engagement, and regional marketing initiatives. He will also work closely with franchise partners to ensure the delivery of F45’s high-quality, community-focused fitness experiences.
Furminger has over 12 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry. During his time at Snap Fitness Australia/New Zealand, Furminger made a significant impact on the company's growth. Over his tenure, the network expanded from 140 to 302 clubs, reflecting his strong leadership and strategic vision. As Chief Operating Officer, Adrian oversaw substantial revenue growth and enhanced franchise support. His ability to drive growth and innovation, coupled with his knack for identifying key strategies for franchise sales and member acquisition, positions him well to expand F45 Training Group's member and franchisee base in the APAC market.
The appointment of Furminger as General Manager reflects F45 Training Group’s commitment to innovation and improved service offerings for the APAC market, and demonstrates their commitment to pioneering exercise and training offerings in local regions for members and franchisee’s alike.
Current F45 Training Group Chief Executive, Tom Dowd welcomed Furminger to the company and enthused “we are thrilled to welcome Adrian to the F45 Training family. His deep understanding of the fitness industry and proven track record of driving growth will be instrumental in accelerating our performance across the APAC region. We are confident that under his leadership, F45 Training will continue to strengthen its position as the premier fitness brand in this market.”
Furminger added “I am honoured to join F45 Training at such an exciting time. The brand’s commitment to innovation and unique approach to fitness has always impressed me. I look forward to working with the team and our franchise partners to continue providing exceptional fitness experiences to our members across the APAC region.”
Furminger holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland and in addition to his professional roles, is involved in leadership positions within the industry. He serves as a Board Director and QLD/NT Chapter President for the Franchise Council of Australia, and was recently recognised as one of Australia’s Top 30 Franchise Executives in 2023.
