Dubai’s Global Village to run for 25 weeks from October
The organisers of Dubai’s annual global village attraction have revealed that its 25th season with run for 25 weeks from October with additional various health and safety measures for visitors.
The silver jubilee season, which will run through the holy festival of Ramadan, will open to the public on 25th October and will remain open for 25 weeks until April 2021.
The popular family venue will feature the American Franchise Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum attraction, in addition to dining, shopping, entertainment and other attractions.
With family and entertainment destinations having been temporarily closed to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates, attractions including IMG World of Adventures, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Wild Wadi Park have reopened, with strict health and safety measures being put in place.
Global Village Chief Executive, Bader Anwahi, said that since its inception the destination has become “a mainstay for family entertainment across the region”.
Advising that health and safety measures would be in place for the new season, Anwahi told Arabian Business “whether it’s by using state of the art technology for wayfinding and contactless payment or by adapting our entertainment offerings, we are breaking new ground across all our verticals for the comfort and happiness of our guests.”
