‘Dry’ attractions on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island set to reopen

‘Dry’ attractions on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island set to reopen
July 28, 2020

The CLYMB, Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi attraction art to reopen to visitors from tomorrow (29th July) although the Emirate’s Yas Waterworld is to remain closed.

Shuttered in March because of the Coronavirus pandemic, CLYMB, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi are reopening with new health and safety measures in place to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.

These safety measures include pre-booking tickets for a specific day, thermal screening cameras and safe distance markers at rides and shops. The attractions will be limited to a 30% capacity and ride capacity has also be modified.

When visitors book their ticket online, they will receive details of the safety measures in place by email. This will allow all visitors to become familiar with the new regulations before they arrive.

Visitors are also being encouraged to download each attraction’s app before they go to allow them to utilise the contactless options at each park.

The validity of annual passes will be extended for the amount of time that the attractions were closed.

Other measure will see some shows at the parks not occur initially to reduce crowds while character meet and greets will also not occur when the parks reopen.

Visitors are encouraged to wear a face mask at all times and to sanitise their hands regularly. Contactless payments are encouraged to reduce contact between visitors and staff members. There will be guest service attendants throughout the parks to answer any questions visitors have about these new measures.

While CLYMB, Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi are reopening, the Yas Waterworld waterpark will remain closed with managers of the attraction working with local authorities to prepare to reopen when it is safe to do so.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi recently launched ‘Coaster Lab’, an edutainment initiative for schools. It is designed to get children to learn about physics, engineering and technology through the lens of roller coasters.

Both Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World are also allowing Annual Passholders with an online booking to visit from today.
