Core Collective opens fitness and wellness centre at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa
Core Collective, best described as a co-working space exclusively for fitness and wellness professionals under the Aurum Group, has opened a fitness and wellness centre located within a conservation block at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa.
The fitness and wellness retreat has an outdoor bootcamp and functional training area, fully equipped indoor personal training gym, and a variety of spa, treatment, and consultation rooms.
Core Collective Sentosa has partnered with Chinois Spa to create wellness treatments at the spa with Dr James Mok, Chief EXecutive of Chinois Spa noting "since 2001, Chinois Spa has partnered with hotels and clubs to recreate an 'oasis in the city' destination spa experience by delivering quality facial, body massage, and couple spa packages.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Core Collective for their newest outlet at the idyllic Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa.”
Established in 2018 with its first centre in downtown Singapore, Core Collective has continued to extend its offerings to more areas with its second branch in Dempsey in 2019. Earlier this year, Core Collective opened its first retail mall outlet, Core Collective i12 Katong at i12 Katong, a six-storey mall which reopened after a two-year revamp. Core Collective’s medical co-working space, Core Clinic, opened in July 2022.
Michelle Yong, Chief Executive of Aurum Land and founder of Core Collective advises “our focus has always been to build supportive environments that create change, advance communities and accelerate growth.
“We are excited to partner with Amara Sanctuary Resort and Chinois Spa and continue the growth of Core Collective to achieve our shared vision of creating the best value and collaborative opportunities for our members and professionals.”
According to Dawn Teo, senior vice president of Amara Hotels & Resorts, the partnership with local brands like Core Collective and Chinois Spa will allow the group to “grow the wellness business together” within the Amara Sanctuary Resort. It will also provide in-house guests and members of the public “an idyllic setting to focus on staying healthy”, she adds. Amara Hotels & Resorts is the hotel and investment management arm of Singapore-listed property group Amara Holdings.
