9Round looks for franchise expansion in Indonesia and Vietnam
July 9, 2020

Already operating in 20 countries, 9Round Franchising, LLC has confirmed plans for continued growth across Asia with the recent completion of new master franchise agreements in Indonesia and one for Vietnam.

With development in both countries is scheduled to begin as soon as possible, 9Round founder and Chief Executive, Shannon Hudson explained “we are excited to welcome Indonesia and Vietnam to our roster as we continue to expand our presence across Asia.

“Based on what we’ve already seen across this continent, we expect 9Round will be the perfect fit for both countries due to its appeal to customers, small real estate footprint, efficient business model and proven international scalability.”

According to Indonesia’s master franchise agreement, 9Round plans to open 25 locations across the country over the next seven years, with Jakarta identified as the country’s first city set to open a studio.

Vietnam’s master license outlines a plan to open 24 locations in 10 years, with Ho Chi Minh City set to be the location of the country’s first 9Round studio.

The brand has also finalised deals for future development in three more countries - Colombia, Panama and Qatar - and is also looking to expand in Brazil and South India.

Hudson added “we kicked off 2020 with locations open and operating across 20 countries, and even with the challenges COVID-19 has presented, we are far from done when it comes to international expansion.

“As we continue to grow the brand’s presence, it’s only a matter of time before people in all corners of the world can access 9Round to become ‘stronger in 30 minutes.’”
